Introduction:

This competition by DCIFF is an international filmmaking competition where entries from all over the world shall be received and the selected ones are displayed in our annual festival to a live audience and the judging panel.

DCIFF is open for all to submit their entries of short films, documentary films, feature films, animated films, or social awareness. Films of all regions, nationalities, languages, or genres will find their place in this film festival.

A highly celebrated jury panel will scrutinize and bestow variegated awards to the selected film entries in each category.

Anyone from anywhere in the world above 18 years of age is eligible to submit.
The Festival will be organized on 2nd October 2022 in New Delhi.

Official Selections and Winners will be announced on our website and social media pages. The Annual Awards event is now to be held in October 2022 in New Delhi, INDIA (subject to the COVID-19 situation).

The official selections and winners selected by the jury will be notified via email.

Certificate and a Memento [Or maybe additional prize(s)] will be given to all the winners under the following categories:

01. Films should contain original content, produced and directed by the filmmaker himself/herself.

02. Violation of intellectual property rights, "infringement" with regard to patents, copyright, and trademarks, and "misappropriation" with respect to trade secrets, can be a breach of civil law or criminal law and can be used to file a lawsuit.

03. If music or additional film material used in your film is not original, then you must cite the source. This is entirely the filmmaker’s responsibility. Failure to cite the source will
result in your film being withdrawn from the Festival.

04. Films should follow the guidelines provided.

05. Films should be submitted through our Submission Partner.

06. Contestants must submit their photo ID along with the film.

07. Films submitted past the deadline will not be accepted.

09. All genre films are accepted.

10. All non-English films/projects must have ENGLISH Subtitles.

11. The jury will screen quarterly selections privately and select winners. The quarterly winners in each category qualify for competing in the Annual Award in that category and if selected, will be screened at the annual event to be held at the end of the year.

12. Each entry has to be accompanied by the requisite fee. No refund for non-selected projects and incomplete entries.

13. No entry fee waivers. No refunds. All entry fees are non-refundable.

14. The decision of the festival committee will be final and no communication in this regard will be entertained. All communications will be via email. No phone calls.

15. The festival reserves the right to disqualify any entry/project on certain grounds and reserves the right to not screen/display any submission for any reason it deems fit.

16 . No violence, no obscenity, no objectionable content.

17. Entrants agree that the Festival Organizers of DCIFF will NOT be held liable for any copyright or other violations by the entrant. The entrant is solely responsible for the contents of the work/project and takes full responsibility. The entrant agrees that
she/he has the rights and authority to submit the content.

18. DCIFF organizers reserve the right to change, cancel or re-schedule the festival dates or categories or awards. The festival also reserves the right to make all decisions regarding the festival.

19. By submitting the project to DCIFF, the applicant agrees to have read and accepted all terms & conditions of participation in the festival.

20. If the organizers accept the project/film for exhibition at the Festival, the applicant hereby grants the following rights to the organizers without any conditions and
qualifications:

a. right to use footage, stills, titles, and other information from or relating to the Project/film for the purposes of promotion;

b. right to authorize publicity for the Project/film and all people related to it; and

c. to use the names and biographical information of all people associated with the Project/film for the exhibition of the Project/film in, and promotion of, the Festival.

21. The festival is not responsible if the film is not screened due to problems in the film format.

20. The Annual Awards event is proposed to be held in New Delhi, INDIA in December 2022 (subject to the COVID-19 situation).




  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
