From the creators of the Festival de Cine Entre Largos y Cortos de Oriente ELCO, comes Short Iberoamérica.

The purpose of SHORTS ELCO IBEROAMERICA AND THE CARIBE FILM FEST is to select the short films that will be part of the ELCO 2022 Film Festival.

All registered shorts will compete to win the passage to be part of the official selection of the ELCO 2023 Film Festival, only 3 shorts per country will have the right to win the selection and be part of ELCO-2023.

From the creators of the Festival de Cine Entre Largos y Cortos de Oriente ELCO, comes Short Iberoamérica.

The purpose of SHORTS ELCO IBEROAMERICA Y EL CARIBE FILM FEST is to select the short films that will be part of the ELCO 2023 Film Festival.

The following countries may participate in SHORTS ELCO IBEROAMERICA AND ELCARIBE FILM FEST: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, Dominican Republic , Uruguay, Venezuela. In addition to the three from the Iberian Peninsula —Andorra, Spain, Portugal and the Caribbean Countries.

DATES:

The call will be open from April 25 to september 1, 2022

The exhibition date of all registered works will be from Febrero 6 to 12, 2023 on the ELCOplay platform.

The date of announcement of the results of winning works febrero 13, 2023.

THE WORKS MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION:

1-That they have been made after August 1, 2021 to August 1, 2022

2-The registration of works that were part of past editions of the ELCO Film Festival is prohibited

3-Spoken in Spanish or with subtitles in this language.

4-Registration is free of charge.

5-Any person interested in being part of the selection of the ELCO film festival, as well as school works and university works, can participate.

6-The registration of the material will be through the portals: Festhome, the latter being the official registration portal of the ELCO Group.

7-Participants may register the number of works they want and in the category specified below.

8-The format of the work MP4 (H264 - minimum 1920 x 1080)

9-The categories to register can be in any genre: (Fiction, Documentary, Animated) As well as Video clips, Extreme Sports Video, Adventure, Conservation and Nature Video, Video Art, Human Rights, Musical, Erotic, Series, Web Series .

10-The shorts or videos may not have a duration greater than 15 minutes, with the exception of documentaries that may have a maximum time of 30 minutes.

11-The selection of the finalists will be made by the members of ELCO IBEROAMERICA Y EL CARIBE FILM FEST and personalities from the film industry.

12-All registered shorts will compete to win the passage to be part of the official selection of the ELCO 2023 Film Festival, only 3 shorts per country will have the right to win the selection and be part of ELCO-2023.

13- The presentation of the short films to the ELCO IBEROAMERICA Y EL CARIBE FILM FEST, implies the acceptance by the producer or director of the bases present here.

14-Works that are related to the organizers of SHORTS ELCO IBEROAMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN FILM FEST OR THE ELCO FESTIVAL may not participate.
