Each year, the International Architecture and Design Film Festival showcases films in which architecture, design and the city serve as the subject, setting, plot or central character, ranging from historical documentaries to contemporary fiction films.

Entry requirements:

1. Works of any nationality produced from 2024 onwards are eligible to enter. Entry is free of charge.

2. If the original language is not Spanish, the film must have Spanish subtitles.

3. The categories open for entry are: Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Experimental, with a minimum running time of 60 minutes.

4. Entries must address contemporary and/or historical themes relating to architecture, design, urban planning, inequalities and environmental issues linked to the city. Priority will be given to the quality, originality, and technical and artistic merit of the submitted works.

5. The person submitting the entry declares, on their own responsibility, that they hold the rights to publicly screen the work and that it does not infringe any intellectual property rights, image rights or any other rights. The organisers of the Buenos Aires International Architecture and Design Film Festival shall be exempt from any claims arising from a breach of this clause.

6. Selected entries must submit a download link containing: a copy of the work to be screened (further details will be requested upon selection), photos, a synopsis, a poster and technical details.

Participation in the Buenos Aires International Architecture and Design Film Festival implies authorisation for:

· The dissemination of trailers and photos of the film via the festival’s electronic promotional media.

· The inclusion of scenes from the film in the festival advert, which will be broadcast on television and online.

· Scheduling screenings of the films at venues that require them.

Submission of a film constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of this call for entries.
