The festival aims to spread new insights and reflections on culture, anthropology,
Art and nature A window to the world just around the corner.
Promoting works by independent audiovisual producers from around the world whose
Thematic and aesthetic treatments generate debate, new knowledge and reflections.
Feature films, short films and short films, in fiction, animation and documentary genres.
FICP has the thematic axes of culture, history, art and the relationship of the
Men with the socio-cultural, natural and territorial environment.
The jury will consist of three members. Personalities from the world of communication, the Art and culture. They will have the task of evaluating and jointly declaring the winner in each Category and the particulars they deem relevant. They shall draw up the minutes with the Reasons for which the audiovisual work is rewarded.
The first prize for each category will be of a symbolic nature and presented on the Festival.
The author (s) of the selected works yield the rights for the partial or total Same, since the same ones are sent to the Festival of Cinema Will form part of the Archive of the Festival.
Theme 2021
Intergenerational - Union between generations
Audiovisual works that focus on the relationships between childhood, youth, adults and old age. How we relate, how adultcentrism puts society in crisis. It is essential to promote intergenerational solidarity, all generations have to learn from others.
This is the theme of the seventh edition of the Patagonia International Film Festival, and documentaries and fictions (short and feature films) from individual or group filmmakers, over 18 years of age and of any nationality will be accepted.
Only audiovisual works made after December 2018 may participate. Works that do not have Spanish as their original language must include subtitles in the latter language. This being an essential requirement for your selection.
The Festival organization will select the works it considers to have the necessary sound and image performance quality to be broadcast, without a duration limit.
The originality of the aesthetic treatment and the coherence of the theme with that of the Festival will be points that favor the selection of the audiovisual work.
Propaganda productions of a religious, political and institutional nature are excluded.
