What is it?

Films of all genres, formats, length and production regions are accepted, as long as they are made from January 1, 2019. Older films can be invited directly by FICSU curators. The festival happens in Ubatuba, north coast of São Paulo, southeast Brazil.

Vermelhinha Award - a more radical surf beach, with waves that break close to the sand, a prize for a more radical film, that takes us to the limit.

Itamambuca Award - a beach that appeals to all, with regular waves, all year long, a prize for a complete film, with a good narrative, well done in all its aspects.
