Hosted by Xinjiang Broadcasting and Television Station and The Belt and Road Initiative Documentary Consortium, BRDOC centres on the theme Connecting the Silk Road Through Documentary: Building a Shared Eurasian Home, with a focus on ecological civilisation and green development across Silk Road countries. The forum will bring together broadcasters, streaming platforms, producers, distributors and investors from China, Asia, Europe and beyond, with the aim of building a lasting platform for international documentary exchange and cooperation.

Golden Poplar International Documentary Exhibition, as part of the inaugural BRDOC, is globally soliciting documentary works focusing on true stories from regions along the Silk Road.

Eligibility: any documentary shot in regions along the Silk Road; free of charge.

Categories: Documentary Shorts (under 30 minutes), Documentary Features (30–150 minutes), and Documentary Series (2 episodes or more).
