TERMS & CONDITIONS

Film Submissions are non-returnable for any reason. If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. CINEFESTIVAL cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged.

A list of dialogs – in English – of the selected films must be sent by February 15 so that electronic subtitles may be done.

We may use up to 1min of the submitted film for advertising purposes.

The decision of the festival is final. Please note festival dates are subject to change.

The selected films will be competing for Araibu Trophy.

The list of selected films will be released officially by February 9, 2015.

Unfortunately, CINEFESTIVAL does not provide room, board or travel for filmmakers.



1) Films completed after January 1st, 2013;

2) Running time: until 25 min (included titles) ;

3) Country of production: All countries* ;

4) Festival Screening format: Mov H264 Fullhd – stereo sound;

5) Genres accepted: All genres ;

6) Films that won prizes or were screened before at other festivals can be submitted.

7) There is no limitation on the number of film to submit;

*Unless dialogues are in Portuguese, the film should have English or Spanish subtitles.
