11th Santaella Short Film Festival, October 24, 2026.
The primary aim of this competition is to promote audiovisual expression and foster cultural diversity. We understand short films as an essential artistic manifestation that transcends mere entertainment, acting as a vehicle for exploring diverse social and artistic perspectives.
Through this call for entries, the festival aims to:
• Boost the visibility of emerging and established talent.
• Create exhibition spaces that enrich the cultural landscape.
• Foster an appreciation for cinema, facilitating encounters between creators and audiences to deepen our understanding of our environment.

Cash Prizes: 2,000€
AWARDS
Four awards modalities are established:
• Prize for the best national short film: endowed with € 800.
• Prize for the best provincial short film: endowed with € 400. In this modality, only inhabitants and/or born in the province of Córdoba can participate; To do this, they must send an email to the email imageartefestival@gmail.com, to record their registration in that category and attach photocopy of the DNI.
• Prize for the best short film valued by the public: endowed with € 400.
• Prize for the best short film for SOCIAL CONSCIENCE endowed with € 400.
PARTICIPANTS
• The competition is aimed at residents of Spain, regardless of their nationality. Participants whose language is not Spanish must submit their works with subtitles in this language for exhibition.
• Both professionals and amateurs may participate, individually or collectively, as long as they hold the legal rights to the works submitted.
SHORT FILMS
• The theme is free and registration is free.
• Each author may submit an unlimited number of works. Accepted formats are: DVD, .mov, .mkv, .avi and .mp4.
• Short films must have been produced after January 1, 2024 and not have participated in previous editions of this festival.
• The maximum duration will be 15 minutes, including credits.
REGISTRATION
• Short films can be submitted in the following ways:
• By email to imagenartefestival@gmail.com, including the title of the short film, a brief synopsis, a copy of your ID and a contact number.
• Through the collaborating platform Festhome.
