Golden Eye—is an international festival for movie and TV cameramen and camerawomen .
Festival’s main goal is to motivate cameramen and camerawomen and people in movie-TV industry, and support their professional development.
The International Festival of Golden Eye will cover the cost of flight and accommodation of the nominees.
Nominations:
- Grand Prize - “Golden Eye”;
- Best movie cameraman work;
- Best TV cameraman work;
- Risk shot;
- Best student work.
FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION TERMS & CONDITIONS ELIGIBILITY
Works must be submitted by:
• Professional cameramen
• Students
• TV companies
• Studios or creative unions
• Copyright owners
All of the mentioned above will be known as the ‘participant’ on the entry form and the responsible party according to ‘Festival Participation Terms and Conditions’.
Submitted works must fit the following terms:
• Resolution – no less than 1920x1080 Full HD;
• Works can be a feature film or a documentary film, video sketches, video profiles, music
videos, etc.;
• Works should be submitted in digital format;
• Participant may submit no more than three works.
Works nominated at the festival should be submitted together with the following information: advertising and press materials (if any), poster, information about the authors and the director of the film.
Participants will be informed about nominated films via e-mail, please, make sure that the e-mail address used in the registration form is valid and regularly active.
The participant has the responsibility to ensure the work complies with the law, including that there are no possible copyright infringements. International Festival of Cameraman “GOLDEN EYE” (‘Festival’) does not have the responsibility to check that the film complies with all domestic and international laws, only the participant has this knowledge and can make inquires. The participant is responsible for correctness of provided information and its coincidence to the festivals terms and conditions.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure the submitted work is fully functional and in proper working order. We do not want Festival’s jury to be frustrated by the submissions which skip, pause, are pixilated or unplayable. If such an entry is received, it will not be considered for judging.
If a competition work contains material which is discriminatory or offensive to any group, will be removed from the competition. The decision will be made during the selection process by the Jury.
PERMISSION FOR SCREENING:
By agreeing to ‘Festival Participation Terms & Conditions’ and completing the ‘Entry Form’ the participant is granting permission for the Festival to screen the competitive work(s).
• The participant is also giving the Festival permission to use competitive work extracts and photographs they submit for publicity purposes.
• Extracts, images from the competitive work(s) and/or additional materials may be broadcasted on TV, the Festival’s website, in printed materials or other internet sources.
• A non-commercial public screening of selected works will also take place during the Festival.

SELECTION OF THE WINNERS
The selection of the winner will happen in two stages:
STAGE ONE
Special selection Jury will choose 3 works (nominees) for each nomination;
The organizers will inform the participants about their selection for stage two (via e-mail);
STAGE TWO
The international jury will select winners from the chosen 3 works (nominees);
The winners will be announced and awarded during the awards ceremony of the Festival;

International Festival of Cameramen “Golden Eye” does not accept any responsibility for lost, late or damaged submissions.
International Festival of Cameramen doesn’t accept responsibility for transportation expenses to Georgia.
Festival organizers reserve the right to edit the Festival’s terms and conditions without notifying the participants. In case of changes updated terms and conditions will be published at www.goldeneye.ge
All the competitive works sent to the festival will be kept in the Festival’s archive and will not be returned.
