INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "BUCOVINA" takes place in the heart of the greatest city Chernivtsy.
Winners in each of the Screenplay Competition categories will:
Be announced and promoted through leading trade publications, subscribed to by leading producers, production companies and studios.
Screenplay competition winners will receive the opportunity to pitch their script to production companies, agents and other industry representatives.
The purpose of the festival is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers and screenwriters to receive valuable information from industry professionals through a series of panel discussions, as well as an opportunity for attendees to participate in networking sessions and nightly receptions.

Winners will be awarded with Award Certificates, prizes and trophies.

The winner of the Audience Award will be awarded with the prestigious gift and certificate.

Filmmakers attending the festival will be greeted with VIP treatment, reserved seats, gift bags, and cocktails at the after-party.

The festival team will create an official selection of films. These projects will have a chance to win one of the many awards announced at the festival, as well as to be screened in front of the live audience of Cinema "RED" and "MAGNAT-MEDIA". There will be laurels available for the nominated films and the winners. The screenings will take place throughout from the 18 to 20 of October 2019 followed by an awards ceremony and networking event.
In regards to intellectual property, you are fully responsible for the clearance of any music, sound, images or graphics contained in your entry. If any record company or music publisher contacts us about an entry’s music rights, we will refer that company to you so be sure to obtain all the appropriate clearances beforehand.

It is in our discretion whether or not we choose to promote your film via our social media channels or website. This may include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or a blog.
All content that is submitted in a language other than Ukrainian is required to have English subtitles included (SRT).
By submitting you agree to our terms and conditions and give us permission to use your email address for marketing purposes.Entries must be submitted by original creator (or a parent, guardian or instructor of an entrant under 18 years of age).

If you are accepted, we require that two hard copies - either DVDs or Blue-rays - be shipped to us as soon as possible or a downloadable version in MP4 or MOV format.

Official selection screeners will not be returned unless the submission filmmaker provides a self addressed stamped envelope. no exceptions.

A separate fee must be paid for each entry, though multiple entries may be sent together.

If you have a press kit, it should include a one or two-line description or synopsis of your work; it's running time; and photo stills for publicity purposes.
Foreign language films must be with English subtitles.

By submitting my film for consideration by the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "BUCOVINA", I agree that:

(1) I am the original creator (or teacher/parent/guardian for youth-produced films).
(2) My film has all necessary clearances and rights to be screened at a film festival.
(3) If my film is selected, it may be screened one or more times at the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "BUCOVINA" .

The INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "BUCOVINA"is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted to use for promotional purposes.
The individual submitting the film hereby warrants that he or she is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

The applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL "BUCOVINA" from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss or damage to screening videos entered. Entry fees are nonrefundable.



  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
