The Julob International Film Festival is a yearly celebration of films and the people who create them.

It brings together storytellers from around the world—both new and experienced—to share their work, connect with audiences, and spark conversations through cinema.

More than just screenings, the festival offers workshops, Q&As, and events that highlight the power of film to inspire, challenge, and bring people together across cultures.

Julob International Film Festival - Rules and Terms of Entry

1. Eligibility:
The Julob International Film Festival is open to filmmakers of all levels, from emerging talents to established professionals.
Submitted films must focus on cultural themes, stories, or perspectives from around the world.

2. Film Categories:
Feature Films (over 60 minutes)
Short Films (under 30 minutes)
Documentary Films
Experimental Films
Animation
Student Films

3. Submission Requirements:
Films must be submitted in their original language with English subtitles, if the original language is not English.
All submissions regardless of year of production are accepted.
Films previously submitted to the Julob International Film Festival are not eligible for re-submission.

4. Submission Process:
Filmmakers must submit their films via Festhome

Each filmmaker may submit multiple entries, but each film requires a separate submission and entry fee.

5. Entry Fees:
Entry fees are non-refundable.

6. Selection Process:
All submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee appointed by the Julob International Film Festival.
Selected films will be notified.
The decision of the selection committee is final and binding.

7. Screening Formats:
Selected films must be submitted in DCP or high-resolution digital format for screening purposes.
Filmmakers are responsible for ensuring the quality of their film's audio and visual components.

8. Rights and Permissions:
By submitting a film to the Julob International Film Festival, filmmakers grant the festival the right to screen their film during the festival dates and for promotional purposes.
Filmmakers must ensure they have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for their film, including music and third-party content.

9. Awards and Prizes:
Awards will be presented in various categories, including Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Documentary, and more.
Details of awards, prizes, and jury members will be announced closer to the festival dates.

10. Festival Screenings:
The Julob International Film Festival reserves the right to schedule additional screenings of selected films during the festival and at other festival-related events.

11. Travel and Accommodation:
Filmmakers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses to attend the festival.
Limited travel grants or accommodations may be available, details of which will be communicated to selected filmmakers.

12. Agreement:
Submitting a film to the Julob International Film Festival implies acceptance of these rules and terms of entry.





  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
