Festival start: 17 March 2022      Festival end: 03 April 2022

L’Europe autour de l’Europe - European film Festival Paris will run from March 17th until April 3rd 2022 in Paris and Île-de-France.
Its selection presents art-house and author films produced by the countries of Greater Europe (47 countries, members of the Council of Europe) with special attention to connections between classic European filmmakers and new talents of contemporary cinema. One of its main objectives is strengthening the creative audiovisual industry network across Europe.

In addition to screenings and Q&A with filmmakers, the Festival presents public masterclasses and panel discussions with prestigious guests from throughout Europe.

L'Europe autour de l'Europe is the place where the new European film meets the European value-keeping cinema.

The authors of the best film in each competition category ( Prix SAUVAGE, Prix PRESENT, Prix SAUVAGE CORTO) are awarded a Dancing Wolf statuette, the symbol of the Festival.
Prix LUNA is awarded by the jury of cinema students and young professionals to the best film of the feature competition in parallel with the Prix SAUVAGE.

We accept submissions of films (co)produced in Europe by one or more of the 47 countries of Greater Europe (members of the Council of Europe).

- Features (60’ and more) never released in France, produced in 2020 or later.

- Documentaries (60’ and more) produced in 2020 or later.

- Shorts films (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental) that last 35' or less, and have been produced in 2020 or later.

- If you think that your film fits perfectly our program but doesn't match the length and/or year of the production criteria, we invite you to submit it for one of our non-competition sections: THEMA, Vie Sauvage. We will consider it.
