Leda`s Monologues International Film Festival (7)

Films based in a monologue of any kind. Film yourself, an actress/actor, or have someone film you. It can be spoken, in front of the camera, or dressed up with a voice over. Use your own text, a famous text from a book, theater piece, or film. Subject is free. Selected films of this category enroll for "BestMonologue Film: Jury Award" and "Best Short Film: Audience Award" prizes.

Any genre is welcome, with a special preferation to the poetic / experimental. Selected films of this category enroll for "Best Short Film" award and "Best Short Film: Audience Award" prizes.

A one-page review / analysis of your film will be written and sent to you right away after we see your film, or monologue. The review will be sent to you and if approved, it will be posted both on our instagram & your film's imdb page. (If you submit for a review it counts as a submission of your film for the film festival as well.)

Is your film unique in any way and multi-awarded? Lets us know and if selected we will promote your film through the festival in the best way we can! (This category is for limited entries only.) The analogy of the -out of competition- films that we project in the festival is 10-15%.

Selected movies of this category enroll for "Best Short Documentary" award. Your documentary will be judged in: authenticity in topic, narrative flow, depth in characters, cinematography, sound and music.

A script on a movie, or a script written for a monologue. The script can be in-developement, it doesn't have to be completed or shot. This category is both open for feature and short scripts. (Please submit pdf or doc files for review.) All scripts enroll for "Best Script Award."

Please mention the name of the music composer(s) or the track that you wish to put in the competition. Ideally send us a separate sample of the music too. It can be a soundtrack for a movie that already exists (if so send us the movie too) or even an idea for a yet-to be made movie. Selected soundtracks participate in the competition for "Best Original Soundtrack Award."

Do you have a special song that uplifts the feelings of a movie? Submit it for the "Best Song" category! The song doesn't have to exist in a film, it can be merely a proposition for a movie, or even a tribute to an already existing one. If a music clip exists it would be good but not entirely necessary. Please, mention the name of the singer as well as the music composer(s) & lyricist.

The category includes "Best Film Stills from the shootings & Best Poster". If you have photos of your film already in your film's Festhomepage, we count them for the contest. Otherwise, you can send us seperately the photos that you would like us to considerate.
