Festival start: 05 October 2018      Festival end: 20 October 2018

Over the past four years we have grown into one of the North West's premier celebrations of cinema. Our event, which takes place at The Turnpike Centre in Leigh town centre, is entirely run by volunteers with a passion for film.

We showcase low-budget film-making and up-and-coming talent from across the country and have screened everything from comedies and dramas to documentaries and animations while including work from as far afield as Europe and the USA.

We are backed by our high-profile patrons, iconic actor Christopher Eccleston and Shameless star Ben Batt.

Saturday 20th October is the main Leigh Short Film Festival 2018.

We have 4 categories where awards will be presented, which are;
Young Filmmaker (under 25)
North West Filmmakers
Animation
