Manlleu Film Festival 2021 ()

1. Pot participar-hi qualsevol curtmetratge enregistrat en qualsevol format, produït per una productora amb seu a un territori de parla catalana, co-produït per una productora amb seu a Catalunya o dirigit per un director/a català/na.
2. La durada màxima de l’obra no pot superar els 25 minuts i ha d’haver estat estrenada posteriorment a l’1 de gener de 2019.
3. S’admeten obres de ficció, no-ficció, animació i experimentals. El Festival no fa diferència entre gèneres cinematogràfics i tots competeixen en la mateixa categoria.
4. La inscripció de les obres es realitza través del web www.filmfreeway.com/manlleufilmfestival o bé www.festhome.com .
5. El termini dʼinscripció finalitza el dia 15 de març de 2021.
6. El comitè de selecció del Manlleu Film Festival sel·leccionarà les obres i ho comunicarà a les productores
i/o directors/es dels curtmetratges seleccionats com a màxim l'1 de juny de 2021.
7. L’empresa productora o distribuïdora de cada film seleccionat es compromet a enviar, en format digital, la còpia per la projecció. El format de projecció és un arxiu “.mov” en códec H264 o ProRes 422, so estéreo, i sense subtítols incrustats. En cas de contenir diàlegs que no són en llegua catalana o castellana, és imprescindible enviar un arxiu .SRT amb els subtítols prioritàriament en català, o en el seu defecte en castellà. L’organització es reserva el dret de sol·licitar documentació extra (recorregut per festivals, sinopsi, imatges promocionals, etc.)
La data límit per l’enviament de la informació és el 10 de juny de 2021.
8. El jurat designat per lʼorganització del Manlleu Film Festival emetrà el veredicte de la competició Nacional. Les decisions del jurat seran inapel·lables. En cas de considerar imprescindible entregar un premi ex-aequo, lʼimport es dividirà entre les obres considerades.
9. El Festival es reserva el dret a deixar desert el premi a la categoria Nacional.
10. Els films seleccionats seran projectats públicament durant els dies del festival, assumint que els seus autors/es o productores nʼautoritzen la projecció i en disposen dels drets necessaris.
11. Els curtmetratges participants a la competició Nacional optaran a dos premis. El premi a Millor curtmetratge de la categoria Nacional dotat amb 1000€*, i el premi del jurat jove, dotat amb 500€*.
12. En cas de ser premiats, la organització sol·licitarà la presència del director o directora del curtmetratge a la cerimònia d’entrega de premis el diumenge 11 de juliol. En cas de que el director o directora no pogués assistir-hi, es compromet a delegar aquesta responsabilitat a un altre membre de l’equip.
13. Fragments de les obres seleccionades i les imatges promocionals cedides, podran ser utilitzades per la difusió i/o promoció del festival (sempre que no sʼindiqui el contrari per part de l’empresa productora).
14. Els films sel·leccionats podran ser utilitzats durant l'any vigent amb finalitats educatives (projeccions en centres escolars) o amb finalitats de promoció del Festival, prèvia notificació a l'empresa productora del film.
15. La participació al Manlleu Film Festival implica lʼacceptació d'aquestes bases.

1. Any film, recorded in any format could be submitted. It must have been produced or co-produced by a company not based in Catalonia.
2. The length of the film must not exceed 25’, and must be completed after January 1st, 2019.
3. We accept fiction, non-fiction, animation and experimental shortfilms. We do not make differences
between film genres. They all compete in the same category.
4. The films can be submitted at www.festhome.com and www.filmfreeway.com/manlleufilmfestival .
5. The deadline for submission is March 15th, 2021.
6. The selection committee will select the shortfilms and will notify it to the production companies and/or the directors around June 1st, 2021.
7. The distribution company of the film agrees to send, in a digital format, a screening copy of the film. This format will be a “.mov” file, H264 or ProRes 422 codec, Stereo, without subtitles embedded. If the film contains dialogues in other languages than Catalan or Spanish, the company must send an .SRT file with Spanish or English subtitles. The Festival will translate the dialogues into Catalan.
The deadline for sending the requested materials is June 10th, 2021.
8. The jury of the Festival, previously designated by the organisation of the Festival, will issue the verdict of the International competition. The decisions of the jury will be unappealable. If the jury consider to grant an ex-aequo award, the amount will be divided between the awarded films.
9. The shortfilms selected will be screened during the festival. By accepting this, the authors or production companies of the films confirm they own the copyrights.
10. The shortfilms of the International competition will compete for two awards. The International Competition award (1000€*), and the young jury award (500€*).
11. All the selected films and promotional images could be used to promote the Festival, unless the production company notifies the opposite.
12. The selected films might be used for educational screenings during the following year, or to promote the Festival, prior notification of the Festival team.
13. The participation to Manlleu Film Festival implies the acceptance of this regulations.

Any film, recorded in any format could be submitted. It must have been produced or co-produced by a company based in Osona (Barcelona), or at least one of the head of departments must be from Osona. That includes the following departments: Direction, cinematography, production, sound, art direction and editing.
