MY FIRST FILM FESTIVAL
FOR HUMAN RIGHTS


My First Film Festival for Human Rights, convenes those short films that, aimed at children, focus on the issues and values ​​set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Realizations that, with a close and inclusive language, and with the participation of children and adolescents, in front of or behind the camera, tell us about them and their view of the world in which they live and of the world they dream of.

My First Film Festival for Human Rights is then looking for those achievements that speak to us of rights and dignity, freedom, solidarity, identity, equality, diversity, integration, participation, respect and friendship.

These are some proposals for the themes of the festival: The Right to Identity, to Health, to Work, to Education. Children's rights. The rights of people with disabilities. The bullying. The rights of minorities. Sexual Diversity Cultural pluralism racial, cultural or social discrimination. The different, the different. Gender violence Xenophobia, racism. The crimes of Lesa humanity, state terrorism. The wars, the genocides, the tortures, the cruel treatment. Child labor. Trafficking in persons, exploitation, slavery. The animal abuse.

ANNOUNCEMENT
 
Its call is open for all those short films of any kind and for Argentine Competition, International Competition and Argentine School Shorts, a section dedicated to shorts made by girls and boys of primary schools or film workshops for children and adolescents.

All those short films of national and international production produced in the last four years will be admitted to the contest. Be fiction, documentary or animation. No advertising productions will be received.
For the Argentine and International Competition, the duration must not exceed 15 minutes (including credits). For the Short of Argentine Schools, the duration will be of a maximum of 5 minutes (including credits).

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

A. All those producers or directors who own the rights over the works they present may participate.
Each participant can present the number of films they want.
B. Each film submitted to the contest must be sent in independent support and with its own registration form.
C. The works can be in Spanish (Castilian) with Spanish subtitles. Or any original language subtitled in Spanish (Castilian).
D. The projection format is: .mov H264 1920x1080 progressive bitrate: higher than 9000

SHIPPING OF THE MATERIAL

E. Through Movibeta or Festhome or another platform that is informed in a timely manner.
F. Right there, the Registration Form is completed and the required photos are attached.
G. The organization will only accept shipments by We Transfer, completing by mail the data and photos, only for the Cortos Escuelas Argentinas section.
H. All inquiries in this regard must be evacuated through the festival mail.

REGISTRATION FORM

The registration form should include: Title, Year of production, Director, Screenwriter, Cast, Photography, Sound, Music, Producer, Duration, City, Province / State, Country. Synopsis (maximum 300 characters including spaces).
Bio filmography of the director and / or the production company (maximum 400 characters including spaces)
Photographs: Two photographs of the film in digital format (300 dpi JPG) One photograph of the director or directors in digital format (300 dpi JPG)
All this documentation is essential to be able to participate in the competitive section.

THE WORKS AND THE FESTIVAL

All the short films will be part of the Cinematheque of My First Film Festival for Human Rights, which undertakes to disseminate them in a strictly cultural, didactic and / or pedagogical, non-commercial way.

The filmmakers who register their short films accept their exhibition in itinerant exhibitions of the Festival, film cycles as well as other proposals of the own organization / auspices of the festival. These activities respond only to the dissemination and promotion of the cinema and the spirit of the festival.

The participants authorize the organization to use frames, photographs and extracts of the films for their diffusion in any communication and promotion support, in order to promote and spread My First Film Festival for Human Rights.
The documentation and the material that is sent of the selected works may appear in all the advertising, social networks and promotion of the Festival.

RIGHTS OVER THE WORKS

The organization assumes that the people or groups that register the works have the rights of exhibition of the same, as well as the authorization to receive the prize in the case of collective authorship. In any case, the organization is exempt from any liability that may arise from the violation of these Rules and Terms.
