Aims to bring to the community the work of different filmmakers from our country and other countries that pretend to make a difference in what respects environment, portraying through the cinematographic art different aspects of life on our planet and how it is affected By the intervention of our species. Likewise, we intend to give space mainly to independent filmmakers, who do not pursue with the accomplishment of their purely commercial objective works, because we consider that this methodology of work is the one that gives more expressive and communicative freedom when transmitting a message that, In the case of this particular subject, touches diverse interests of economically powerful groups.

MICAI is a non-competitive event

The works can be fictions, documentaries or animations, in short, medium or long format, of environmental theme, and can participate filmmakers of any nationality.

The sample is destined to independent productions or with the support of NGOs, educational institutions, national, provincial or municipal states. The number of works sent by a director, producer or holder of the exhibition rights is not limited, but a worksheet must be submitted for each work.

The submission of the material, together with the registration form, implies that the producer, producer or holder of the exhibition rights of the work grants authorization to the Manekenk Association to make use of it in MICAI, as well as the extraction of fragments For promotional graphics or advertising spots. Under no circumstances can the Manekenk Association be allowed to make any profit through the exhibition of the works, and undertakes to request permission from the producer, producer or holder of the exhibition rights of the work in the event of an opportunity to make a screening Outside the framework of MICAI.
