Festival start: 29 September 2026      Festival end: 03 October 2026

NaNo Film Market is the industry section of the NaNo Film Festival 2026, now in its second edition, designed to guide authors and producers from project development through to their encounter with the audiovisual market. The program is structured into two parallel tracks:

- NaNo Development Lab, dedicated to 6 unreleased short films (3 Fiction, 3 Documentary) in the writing phase, featuring intensive training and a pitching day in front of producers and distributors; each selected project may be represented by up to two people, in any combination of director, screenwriter, and producer;

- Industry Showcase, reserved for short films in advanced post-production or already completed (5 in total) seeking festival distribution or rights acquisition from sales agents, buyers, and networks; each selected project is granted a single accreditation.

Participation is required for the full duration of the program: both tracks are preceded by an online Meet To Match session, designed to best prepare participants for meetings and pitches.

For the NaNo Development Lab, selected projects gain access to an intensive training program and a Pitching Day in front of producers, sales agents, and distributors. For the Industry Showcase, selected participants gain the opportunity to hold targeted one-to-one meetings with industry decision-makers and distributors, to discuss distribution strategies, agency agreements, or rights acquisition proposals.
