>>> Looking for Maximum Exposure? You’re in the Right Place. <<<

Welcome to the New York Film Screening Festival (NYFSF).

A home for filmmakers who believe their work deserves to be seen and celebrated.

Located in the heart of New York City, NYFSF connects storytellers and audiences through multiple screenings each year, both online and in person.

Every submission is featured and promoted on our social media platforms, ensuring your film reaches new viewers and gains meaningful visibility around the world.

Our mission is to showcase the creativity, passion, and imagination that define today’s independent cinema. From deeply personal stories to bold visual experiments, we celebrate films and animations that move, inspire, and stay with the audience long after the screening ends.

We welcome all types of films and animations, both feature-length and short, across every style and genre. Whether it is live action, 2D or 3D animation, stop motion, experimental, or mixed media, every voice and vision has a place here.

Submit your film now. Your film deserves to be seen.

1. General Policy
We accept all genres and styles of animation. All submissions must comply with the content policies of Instagram and Facebook:

https://transparency.meta.com/policies/community-standards/

Submissions that violate these guidelines may have their promotional posts removed, which could affect the visibility of your work on our social media platforms.

If any content is flagged as potentially non-compliant, we may request alternative still images before posting. Only approved materials will be shared on NYFSF’s official platforms.

2. Technical Requirements

File format: MP4 or MOV
Resolution: Minimum 1920x1080
subtitles: Required for all non-english films

3. Screenings
Selected works will be featured in online screenings hosted via Zoom or YouTube Live, offering international exposure to audiences worldwide.

At the end of the year, outstanding films will be showcased in-person in New York City as part of our annual event.

Screening schedules will depend on the number of submissions. All participants will be notified once details are finalized and provided with the streaming link.

4. Permissions
By submitting your work—including films, still images, posters, and trailers—you grant the New York Film Screening Festival (NYFSF) permission to promote your project across our platforms and include it in festival screenings.

While NYFSF aims to feature every submission on social media, we reserve the right to determine what content can be shared publicly if it may conflict with platform guidelines.

5. Copyright
Submitters must hold all rights to the materials used in their film, including music, visuals, and written content. NYFSF is not responsible for any copyright infringements or legal disputes arising from submitted works.

6. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect within the NYFSF community.
Hate speech, harassment, or offensive comments will result in removal and permanent disqualification from all NYFSF-related activities.

7. Respect for Artists
Every submission represents the effort, creativity, and passion of its creator. NYSAF values and celebrates all participants equally and encourages a positive, supportive community of artists.

8. Refund Policy
All submission fees are non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal, disqualification, or changes to the screening schedule.

9. Additional Services
To help maximize exposure, NYFSF offers optional services including:
