Papagena Festival: Celebrating Art in All Its Forms
Get ready to experience a unique experience of art, culture and creative expression! The Papagena Festival brings a program full of audiovisual exhibitions, visual arts, lectures and social actions, creating an inclusive space for everyone.
With the goal of providing an inclusive and learning space, the event will take place physically, at the Associação Tapeçaria Timbi, and also virtually via Vimeo, the official website and YouTube, allowing everyone to participate from anywhere.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to explore short films, illustrations, photographs and debates that reflect on the impact of art on society, while contributing to the construction of a more collaborative and conscious culture.
What to expect?
Audiovisual Exhibitions: Screening of short films and independent films of various genres, with emphasis on local and international productions.
Visual Arts: Exhibition of works by established and emerging artists, with a focus on innovation and authenticity.
Lectures and Debates: Conversations about the future of the arts, cultural entrepreneurship and the importance of art in social transformation.
Social Actions: Initiatives to promote culture and community engagement, with projects that seek to positively impact society. During the festival, a book drive will be held for the city library, encouraging the donation of literary materials that will help enrich the reading offering for the local community.

During the Papagena festival, the awards will be decided by popular vote in each category. The public will have the opportunity to choose their favorite works in audiovisual, photography and illustration, as well as vote for the best works in the Children's, Black, Local and International categories. The winners of each category will receive a certificate of recognition, celebrating the talent and active participation of all.
Rules and terms
By submitting a work to the Papagena Festival, the participant guarantees that the work submitted is their own work or that they have explicit permission to use it. Works by third parties will not be accepted without due authorization. In the case of collaborative works, the participant must provide a declaration of consent from all involved. The participant must also guarantee that the works submitted are free from any form of violence, discrimination or prejudice. Any content that promotes hate speech, racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, or any other type of verbal, visual or psychological aggression will be disqualified.
During the festival screenings, all participants, visitors and organizers are expected to maintain an attitude of respect, dignity and courtesy.
By submitting the work, the participant grants the festival the right to use the work during the event and for promotional purposes (online or in person), without the need for additional remuneration. The use of the work is restricted to promotional materials and exhibition during the festival period, including on online platforms such as the website, Vimeo and YouTube, always respecting the artist's authorship.
The works submitted must meet the minimum quality requirements specified in the festival guidelines.
The festival team reserves the right to disqualify works that do not meet these criteria. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that the file submitted is in the correct format and works properly for exhibition, especially for audiovisual and online platforms.
The awards will be held through popular voting, with the public choosing their favorite works in the established categories, such as Children's, Black, Local, International, among others. Each award-winning category will be recognized with a certificate of recognition. Voting will be anonymous, and participants must ensure that their works comply with the festival rules in order to be considered.
The festival is not responsible for loss or damage to the works submitted or to the materials provided by participants during the event. The participant is responsible for ensuring that the works comply with copyright and intellectual property laws. If the festival receives any copyright claim, the work will be immediately disqualified.
The festival reserves the right to cancel or modify any part of the event, including the program or rules, if necessary. In case of change of dates or cancellation of activities, participants will be notified in advance.
By submitting a work, the participant declares that he/she agrees to all the rules and terms of the festival, accepting the conditions mentioned above.
