Parrot International Films Festival is an event organized for people from the independent film industry,Also other Filmmakers and for cinema-goers who love to discover niche films and artists.
The festival’s judges and programmers are coming from different film backgrounds, and are eager to put together an exciting and truly high-quality program of indie films. Parrot National Films Festival aim is to discover new talent, films and filmmakers with potential, and to recognize the collaborative work this artform is funded on.
The program will focus on independent films of different genres, with no limitations on length, style or country of origin. The festival is open to everyone regardless of budget and experience. We consider the films submitted for each category for all individual categories, so you have more chances to win with one or two submissions.

Prizes will be given to both categories and individuals. Prize money will also be given depending on the number of submissions.
Rules & Regulations:
1. The competition is open to International entries. Please check individual categories and submit suitable categories to your project.
2. Feature films are 60 minutes in length or longer. Short films are under 45 minutes in length. We reserve the right to watch a minimum of 30 minutes of all films in order to reach a decision. All non-English speaking films must be presented in their original version with English subtitles. Feature screenplays must be between 60 and 130 pages in length. Short screenplays must be between 1 and 45 pages in length.
3. Entries must not have been publicly shown before January 1, 2019.
4.Works in progress are accepted but are not encouraged. We cannot promise that we will be able to watch re-edited submissions. Please only submit works in progress if submitting close to the final deadline.
5. You may submit multiple entries but must pay an entry fee for each.
6.Scripts are eligible to receive laurels and optional awards, but do not show at the annual event
7.No refunds will be given.

All shipping and postage costs for the submission package and, if the film is selected for the Festival, for all prints, tapes and additional materials sent to and returned from Parrot National Film Festival must be borne by the submitting party. Parrot National Film Festival will not accept Cash On Delivery shipments. Parrot National Films Festival will not absorb any fees incurred in customs. All charges must be pre-paid. Parrot National Film Festival will not accept submissions if customs and delivery fees have not been paid by the submitting party.
About our Waiver Policy:
We believe in a fair policy to each and every filmmaker. We try to keep reasonable fees for all submissions and we offer regular discounts to students and new filmmakers, however, no waivers at this stage.
