Patrofest is a film festival where you can participate to see your work on the big screen and spend a relaxing time talking about cinema. We want to give a push to young authors who are taking their first steps in this world.
The festival will be held in the emblematic modernist theater "El Patronat", located in the old town of Premià de Mar.

18 SECTION:

OFFICIAL SECTION
The author of the work must have been over 18 and under 35 during the filming. (There is a specific category for underage authors).
- The works must have been produced from January 1, 2024, onwards.
- The works must be fiction for this section, with no thematic restrictions.
- Short films may be submitted in any language but must include subtitles in Catalan or Spanish.
- The duration of the works must not exceed 10 minutes (including credits).
- Registration will be carried out exclusively through the Festhome platform.
- Registration must be accompanied by at least three frames from the film.
- Submissions open on April 1, 2025, and close on September 1, 2025 (both included).
- All material included in the short film must be original or copyright-free.
- The organization reserves the right to select the works that will participate in the festival.
- On September 27, 2025, the selected short films will be screened, followed by a discussion with attending team members.
- If your work is selected, the organization will contact the team using the contact details provided on the Festhome platform.
- To be eligible for an award, at least one team member must attend the screening and participate in the discussion.
- The winners in different categories will be chosen by a jury. The jury will be announced before the festival.
- The prizes awarded will be as follows:
- Grand Prize of the Patronat(€350)
- Second Prize of the Patronat(€200)
- Third Prize of the Patronat(€150)
- Veritat i Moviment Award for Best Male Performance
- Veritat i Moviment Award for Best Female Performance
- Bombeta Award for Best Idea and Script
- The festival organization reserves the right to expand or modify the prizes before the festival takes place.

- For underage team members attending the festival, an image-use authorization will be required for media coverage on social networks.
