¡PINCHO Y CORTO! ()

I PINCH AND SHORT! is a short film festival to be held throughout the year.

PERIODIC SESSION

During the indicated periods, a program will be designed with between 5 and 10 selected short films, depending on their duration, which will rotate through hotel establishments that are part of the project in different areas and neighborhoods of the city of Logroño, showing the same selection, in each location and different zone.

PROJECTION OPTIONS
The programming will rotate through the different catering establishments, being projected on the terraces or spaces set up for it.

• Each weekend a series of films will be screened in each bar and in various screenings.

• Each week the selection of jobs will change.
Making these decisions will depend on:

• Volume of works obtained through collaboration or presented for screening.

• Sponsorship and decision of the interested establishments.

• External sponsorship.

THEMATIC

The theme will be free conditional for all audiences, but those that include an allusion to Riojan gastronomy in their scripts and belonging to the genre of comedy will have more value for their selection.
Short films with a sexist, xenophobic or offensive theme will not be allowed.
There is the possibility of creating thematic sections in the screenings, according to the volume of films, and seeking added value for social or ecological aspects, so that subtitled works may have more value when selected for screening.

Cash Prizes: 600€

AWARDS

Among all the films selected, a jury made up of professionals from the film industry and a representation of the participating hoteliers and collaborating companies will decide the awarding of the following official awards:

• AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM. Endowed with € 600.

• AUDIENCE AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM. Awarded by the public of ¡PINCHO Y CORTO! and endowed with € 300.

• DIPLOMA OR TROPHY TO THE BEST DIRECTION.

• DIPLOMA OR TROPHY FOR BEST ACTRESS.

• DIPLOMA OR TROPHY FOR BEST ACTRESS.

• DIPLOMA OR TROPHY FOR THE BEST PHOTOGRAPH.

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

Those producers or filmmakers resident in Spain who have the rights to the works they present may participate.

All animation, documentary or live-action fiction films that have been produced after October 1, 2020 will be accepted.

The duration of the papers presented may not exceed 10 minutes.

Each author or producer may present the number of films that he wishes.

The works submitted to the competition must be unpublished.

Participants authorize the organization of ¡PINCHO Y CORTO! the use of extracts from the short films for their diffusion in any media in order to promote the festival. Also, PINCHO Y SHORT! You may use photographs of the films and of the directors, in the press and other media, as well as for the possible preparation of a festival catalog.

INSCRIPTION

Registration will be made through the contest website (www.pinchoycorto.com). It will be necessary the corresponding registration form and upload the film file or viewing link for the pre-selection.

Any questions will be answered at the email address festival@pinchoycorto.com.

Registration deadlines: since septiembre 1 until 23 hours and 59 minutes on september 31, 2021.

SELECTION

A selection committee made up of professionals from the sector will be in charge of selecting, among all the films presented, those works that will participate in ¡PINCHO Y CORTO! The organization of the contest will establish the order and the date of online broadcast of each film, reserving the right to change the date of each broadcast according to the needs of the contest. The decisions of the selection committee will be final.

Exaequo prizes cannot be declared. The decisions of the jury will be final.
The Organization reserves the right to modify the rules of the contest, partially or totally at any time, with prior notice.
