Požarevac Film Festival or simply POFF is a valuable alternative local cultural event held in famous TARANTINO PUB i Požarevac, small town in eastern Serbia.

We screen short films by young authors, and authors who feel young. Basically everyone.

We are not funded by any institution or sponsors.

Our ideology is good films for good audience. We focus on long talks and Q&As after each short film (no blocks of films and than shorts Q&As after. We put our effort to bring all the authors to the festival, but if that is not possible, we organise an online Q&A.

Požarevački MIR - honorable award for supporting young authors and artists in Serbia and around the world

- We accept films up to 65 minutes long;

- All genres, forms and approached;

- No limits for the birthplace or birthdate of the film;

- No limits for the author's age;

- You can submitt unlimited amount of entries;

- English and/or Serbian subtitles required;

- Resubmissions allowed;

- We are trying to keep submission fees as low as possible but our festival is dependent on them and every cent means a lot. However, if you have difficulties with paying the submission fee, feel free to request a waiver.
