Festival start: 08 September 2027      Festival end: 04 December 2027

Project Drama is a curated online destination for compelling independent drama films from around the world. We showcase powerful stories, memorable performances and films that deserve to find a wider audience.

We welcome drama films that have completed their festival circuit, were overlooked by traditional festivals, or are ready to reach viewers online. Selected films will be featured on the Project Drama YouTube channel and supported with professional packaging and promotion.

Project Drama — where great drama lives.

Submissions must be narrative drama films between 5 and 45 minutes.

Films may originate from any country. Films not in English must include English subtitles.

The submitter must own or control all necessary rights to the film, including music, performances and visual material.

Submission does not guarantee selection. All films are reviewed for storytelling, performances, production quality and suitability for the Project Drama audience.

If selected, the filmmaker will be asked to provide the required final film file, trailer, poster, stills, synopsis and credits.

Selected films will be hosted exclusively on the Project Drama YouTube channel.

Publication on other non-YouTube platforms may be permitted by written agreement.

Net YouTube advertising revenue attributable to the film will be shared 50/50 between Project Drama and the rights holder, with accounting and eligible payments issued half-yearly.

By accepting selection and publication, the rights holder grants Project Drama permission to host, promote and use excerpts, trailers, stills and artwork from the film.

A request to withdraw a film after the publication agreement has been accepted may incur an administration and removal fee of AUD $1,000.

Project Drama reserves the right to decline or remove material that breaches these rules or creates a copyright, legal or platform-policy concern.
