Festival start: 13 October 2026      Festival end: 30 June 2027

Shortcutz Paris is an independent short film festival for cinema lovers — a gathering point where creatives, producers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts come together to exchange ideas and nurture their shared passion for filmmaking. Based in Paris, the festival draws filmmakers and audiences from across France and beyond, building an international community around independent short cinema.

More than a screening series, Shortcutz Paris positions itself as a space for engaged, socially conscious storytelling — each themed edition tackles pressing social and political questions, using short film as a lens to spark dialogue on the issues shaping culture today.

Each month, the festival hosts a session showcasing a themed selection of narrative, animated, documentary, and experimental short films, followed by a debate with the filmmakers and their teams. Sessions are open to the public on a prix libre (pay-what-you-can) basis, with films subtitled in French or English and Q&As conducted in French to foster connection with the local community.
