The announcement of the International Internet Short-film Festival "Diogenes 2026"

Slogan: Cinema Without Borders

Films will be evaluated by three jury groups:

• Main International Jury
• Student Jury
• Public Jury (inmates/convicted persons)

Winners will receive prizes and diplomas — a total of 5 prizes and 5 diplomas.

Prizes and nominations

Main Jury

1. Best Film — Grand Prix
2. Best Directing — Prize
3. Best Screenplay — Prize
4. Special Mention — Diploma

Student Jury

1. Best Film — Prize
2. Best Cinematography — Diploma
3. New Vision — Diploma

Public Jury

1. Best Film — Prize
2. Best Acting Performance — Diploma
3. Best Coverage/Portrayal of a Social Topic — Diploma

Films are accepted from February through the end of September (inclusive).

1. Running time: not less than 1 minute and not more than 30 minutes.

2. Year of release: 2024 / 2025 / 2026.

3. The film must include English subtitles.

4. Copyright must be respected/cleared.

5. Submission fee: $5.

6. The festival accepts fiction, documentary, experimental, and animated films.

7. AI-generated films are not accepted.

8. Festival organizers have the right to download the film submitted to the competition in full for working purposes.
