Terror Frame Fest, one of the first horror festivals in the Community of Madrid, is back for its fifth edition, where we can enjoy HORROR and its endless variety of subgenres, such as A-list, B-list, and Z-list films, slashers, gore, atrocity, space horror, zombies, and fake trailers... In short: we love getting scared—and we also love laughing at your crazy ideas.

SHORT FILM REQUIREMENTS

- The most basic and important rule: remember that this is a HORROR festival—please do not submit anything else.

- Short films must be no longer than 15:00 (fifteen minutes).

- Entries must have been produced on or after January 1, 2025.

- Short films must be Spanish productions.

- Any individual, production company, or association that wishes to participate may do so, provided they are OVER 18 years of age.

- Films not made in Spanish must include Spanish subtitles, which must be integrated into the video.

- Each filmmaker may submit a maximum of two short films.


RIGHTS AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS

- As the author, you warrant that the use of the work for these purposes will not infringe or violate the rights of any person or entity, and that you have full authority to grant the rights described herein, including permissions related to copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, and privacy rights.

- You agree to indemnify TERROR FRAME FEST against any third-party claims that may arise from the use of this work in a manner consistent with the rights you guarantee.

- Once the festival has concluded, the organization may not use the material without the express consent of the work’s legitimate
author or the short film’s legal owner.

- The organization may reject works that, for various reasons, do not fit the festival’s profile.

- Participation in this festival implies acceptance of all sections of these RULES.


OBLIGATIONS OF THE WINNERS OF THE JURY PRIZE

The creators of the winning entry for the JURY PRIZE (or at least one representative) must be present at the awards ceremony to receive the prize.

Special mentions will be sent via email after the contest concludes.


FESTIVAL VENUE

The festival will be held in Madrid, at the Cines Embajadores, on February 13, 2027.

Any unforeseen circumstances that arise during the TERROR FRAME FEST and are not covered in these Rules will be decided by the festival organizers.


  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
