The aim of "The Golden Linden” Film Festival is to promote films from all over the world but especially films for the European cinema in Bulgaria and to show the latest and most interesting films from various European countries. The festival has three programs: International competition, European competition, and National competition. The selected films for the International and European competition program are evaluated by an international jury while the National competition is evaluated and chosen by the festival director. The festival is organized with the support of the Municipality of Stara Zagora. Entrance to all festival screenings as well as all accompanying events is free of charge. All are welcome!

1. Entries in foreign languages have english subtitles.
2. All entries must have been completed after Jan 2021.
3. All rights including music clearance must be confirmed by the Film’s Producer(s)
4. Multiple entries are allowed. You may submit more than one film in the same category.
5. A screening committee will determine which films will be exhibited, submissions are not guaranteed to be shown. All decisions of the jury committee are final.
6. Selected filmmakers in all categories will be notified.
7. Winners will be presented with their awards during the awards Night Ceremony.
