This year Edition of Dar il-Wahx will incorporate an International Film fest and submissions are open to all film makers from all over the world!

We accept short horror films of all horror genres such as Gore, Paranormal Terror, Psychological Terror, Horror Animation, Docu-horror, experimental horror, and shocking fiction.

This year we will accept Short Films and feature Films, and we are looking forward to include different films from different countries from different filmmakers. There will be three categories:

1. LONG SHORTS (15 minutes to 20 minutes duration)

2. MEDIUM SHORTS (10 minutes to 14 minutes duration)

3. MICRO SHORTS (1 minute to 9 minutes duration)

There is a compulsory entry fee that must be paid to complete a submission.

All films must reach us by the 30th of September.

We reserve the right to show up to 10 percent of the film for promotional sake. You own all the copyrights, we do not intend to take any credit for that, so please don't worry, however we would need to show trailers, and clips for promotional material on TV, newspapers and website.

Please abide by the rules of the film lengths category.

No films received after the 30th September will be considered.

Only Media formats are accepted for this festival for this year.

Please note that you should own all copyrights of your film, and have right release for any music used for your film.

You can submit more than one film, however please use another application form for a new film.

We accept any language however they should have burned in English subtitles should the language spoken be otherwise.
