The Next AI Film Festival is here!

Beyond the limits of imagination and expression, and beyond the boundaries of genre,
a new platform is taking shape to showcase diverse works and discover new voices in AI filmmaking.

As an intimate and distinctive AI film festival,
we aim to provide a space to explore emerging trends in AI filmmaking from Korea and around the world, while examining the cultural and industrial potential of AI content.

Going beyond AI as merely a technical tool,
the festival seeks to explore the nature and creative possibilities of AI as a medium.

We invite creators to join us on this journey!

- Venue: A CGV theater in Seoul, South Korea

- Program: Approximately 40 films from Korea and around the world

- Hosted by: Impact Station

- Best Film: KRW 1,500,000
- Special Jury Prize: KRW 500,000

■ Eligibility

- AI films, animations, music videos, art films, brand films, and other audiovisual works

- Works in which AI is used as a core part of the production process

- No restrictions on theme; running time must not exceed 40 minutes

- Open to both individuals and teams

- There is no limit to the number of works an applicant may submit



■ Notes

- The Next AI Film Festival will be presented as a main program of the 2026 Next AI Content Festival. The same work may also be submitted to other open-call programs within the festival.

- Works selected for online screening will be made available through the Contentrip AI app.

- Upon notification of selection, officially selected filmmakers must submit a final screening version in DCP format with the required subtitles burned into the video.

* Korean-language works must include burned-in English subtitles.

* Non-Korean-language works must include burned-in Korean subtitles.

- Participation in filmmaker Q&A sessions is optional. For international filmmakers who choose to participate, English interpretation will be provided.

- One Grand Prize will be awarded to a work selected from among the officially selected works of both the Next AI Film Festival and the Next AI Short Drama Festival.

- The Audience Award will be selected from among all officially selected works in both the competition and non-competition sections.

- The festival schedule is subject to change depending on circumstances.

- If the final screening version differs from the version originally submitted for consideration, the selection may be revoked.

- Clips and information from selected works may be used for promotional and archival purposes.

- All submitted works must be original works created by the applicant using AI and must be free from copyright disputes or third-party claims. The applicant assumes full legal responsibility for all matters related to the submitted work, including copyright, likeness rights, and other third-party rights.
