A gay film festival with movies about gay men. On Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, 2024, The Rooster Film Festival will be screening both feature and short films in the afternoons until late at night. The festival begins Friday afternoon with a filmmaker mixer and concludes with Sunday brunch at a local gay-friendly restaurant. This is a festival with movies about gay men that are fun, that celebrate our uniqueness and lust for life. The weekend is a joyous celebration for festival participants to make new friends and support the work of creative filmmakers telling their unique story.

The submitter must own all rights to the submitted films.

The festival will not pay any fees or royalties to publicly screen submitted films during the festival. The festival does not provide transportation or lodging for filmmakers. Each accepted film receives two festival passes to be used by the filmmaker, screenwriter or lead actors.
