The Quillota International Film Festival is a film festival that, in its fourth version, becomes a competitive event. A festival through cinema that carries out training, production and distribution activities in the city and province of Quillota during the year 2023 (June to December 2024). Its objective is to professionally mediate cinematographic quality content in various public spaces, movie theaters, cultural halls, and schools and colleges in the commune and province of Quillota.

RULES 5th QUILLOTA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2024

This Call is open from February 25, 2024 to June 31, 2024.

All Chilean, Latin American and World filmmakers are invited to participate in the 5th Quillota International Film Festival 2024, FicQuillota, an International Festival organized by the Quillota Cinematographic Cultural Corporation, region of Valparaíso Chile.
It will take place during the months of September to November 2024 in rooms, cultural spaces and avenues of the city and province of Quillota.

There are the following categories:

1.- Best International Short Film Competition. (Fiction, Documentary, Animation), (2023-2024).

2.-Best Latin American Short Film Competition (Documentary Fiction, Animation), (2023-2024).

3.- Best Chilean Short Film Competition (Fiction, Documentary, Animation 2023-2024).

The submission of works is through:


- Festhome Platform (International, Latin American and National Competition).

- For national competition, sending a copy via web platform (Vimeo, Youtube, or other) is allowed, with a password, to the email ficquillota@gmail.com.

The selected films will be informed to the email of the representative of each work. Once informed, the Festival production will communicate with each Director and/or representative to send the exhibition copy, which must be in Quicktime Apple ProRes (HQ) or H.264 format.

* Each Work Selected by email must fill out the FILM REGISTRATION FORM, sending it to the same email ficquillota@gmail.com
