TRETS is a film festival organized by the CineClub La Ràpita that wants, from a cinematographic approach, to show the identity and way of life of a town or culture. TRETS 2026: INDIAN Culture

Regulation. The 4th. edition of TRETS, Festival de Cinema i Cultures de La Ràpita.

2026 Edition: INDIAN Culture
deadline for submitting short / long papers: March 29, 2026

General conditions:

1) The 5th. TRETS, La Ràpita Film and Culture Festival will take place from May 08 to 10, 2026, and filmmakers from around the world will be able to participate.

2) Fiction, documentary and animation shorts lasting between 1 'and 30' minutes can participate.

3) The productions must have been completed after January 1, 2024.

4) Registration will be done by sending the feature films or shorts through the Festhome link with a deadline of March 29, 2026.

5) The short films presented must have subtitles in Catalan or Spanish

6) In those selected productions, the TRETS organization will contact the managers to agree on the format and form of sending the final projection file, as well as dissemination material, trailers or photographs.

7) All productions that are not in Catalan or Spanish must have the corresponding subtitles in either of these two languages. If not, they will be rejected.

8) FEATURES consists of the following categories:
• SHORT FEATURES: Fiction Shorts,
documentary or animation

9) The TRETS organization will agree on the date and order of exhibition of the selected productions, committing to be screened only within the Festival.

10) The official jury will consist of personalities linked to the world of cinema and culture.

11) The two categories mentioned will get the following prizes:

• SHORT FEATURES:
o Best Short Film chosen by the Jury with
one endowment of € 150
o Best Short Film chosen by the Public with one endowment of € 150

12) In the case of being awarded, in the short films the corresponding TRETS laurel will be added, which will record the prize obtained.

13) The decisions of the official Jury will be final. prizes will be awarded at the closing session on May 10, 2026.

14) Registration implies acceptance of all the rules.
