War of Films is an IMDb-certified film festival that offers a platform for independent filmmakers from around the world to showcase their talent and connect with professionals from the film industry.

Our festival has featured and honored major stars and companies such as Susan Sarandon, Robin Williams, Ron Perlman, Epic Games, Lucy Liu, Danny Trejo, Michael K. Williams, John Turturro, Malcolm McDowell, Vinnie Jones, Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), and Academy Award–nominated actor James Cromwell, all of whom have been awarded at our festival. This positions War of Films as one of the most relevant festivals on an international level, recognized for its strong commitment to supporting independent cinema. Proof of this is the trust placed in us by more than 6,600 filmmakers from 120 countries.

Even if your film is not selected, we offer distribution support. We understand that navigating the complex landscape of film distribution can be challenging, which is why we are committed to accompanying our filmmakers throughout the entire process. Through our distribution network, your film can gain access to the world’s most important film markets.

Screenplay: short film up to 30 pages / feature film up to 180 pages.

1.We accept films and screenplays in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
Other languages are also accepted provided they are subtitled in English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian.

2.No fee waivers are granted. All submission fees are non-refundable.

3.War of Films may use excerpts from your work for promotional purposes related to the festival (maximum 1 minute).

4.Usage Rights
The participant declares and guarantees that they hold all necessary usage rights to the work for the purposes of this agreement and are entitled to grant such rights to War of Films. The participant guarantees that the use of the work in this context does not infringe the rights of third parties, including individuals appearing in the film. The festival is not responsible for any legal action that may arise from the infringement of these rights.

By submitting under the VIP or Trailer + YouTube categories, you grant permission for your trailer to be published on our YouTube channel.

5.The festival does not pay screening fees. At the in-person festival, screenings will be held for the winners of Best Short Film, Best Music Video, Best Commercial, Best Trailer, Best Influencer of the Year, and Best Feature Film. All other categories are considered technical.

6.The organization reserves the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule dates, venues, awards, and categories without prior consent.

7.The festival reserves the right to add new categories, such as Best Thriller, Best Science Fiction, Best LGBT, Best Fantasy, etc., if deemed appropriate, as well as to remove categories if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

8.Our goal is to promote your work. By submitting, you agree that we may share information about your project with distributors and festivals for promotional purposes.

9.If you do not submit the required materials for cinema screening, your project will be disqualified. All screenings take place in movie theaters, and without the required materials, professional screenings cannot be carried out.

Submission implies acceptance of these rules.










  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
