Step into a world where Christmas magic feels real again. The Christmas Spirit Film Festival is a joyful celebration of song, film, and the timeless spirit of the season.

Although this is our first film festival, Rhoda Wilson Productions established since 2013, has been producing Christmas movies, and runs an annual event called an “An Evening Celebrating Christmas”. This film festival is a new initiative, and an extension of what Rhoda Wilson Productions is passionate about: bringing together families, creatives, and Christmas lovers for an uplifting entertainment.

The film festival aim is to select inspiring Christmas films — stories that stir emotion, faith, spark reflection, and remind us of the hope, love, and wonder that define this special time of year.

Complementing the films is the enchanting power of Christmas music. Throughout the festival, guests will enjoy festive performances, and musical interludes that set the perfect atmosphere. Whether it's a choir harmonising classic carols, a soloist delivering a moving Christmas ballad, or a lively sing-along moment, the music will add a magical layer that deepens the emotional experience.

But this festival is more than entertainment — it's a celebration of community with a red-carpet moment. Whether you attend with family, friends, or on your own, you'll find yourself surrounded by belonging and Christmas cheer.

Beyond the glitz of the film festival will be masterclasses and drama workshop for children.

The Christmas Spirit Film Festival is designed to become a cherished annual tradition — a place where stories come alive, songs uplift the soul, and the true meaning of Christmas is experienced in a fresh and unforgettable way.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION AND PARTICIPATION

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT FILM FESTIVAL

A Celebration of Song, Film & the True Spirit of Christmas

The Christmas Spirit Film Festival welcomes filmmakers from around the world (national and international) to submit inspiring, uplifting, and heart warming Christmas films. We celebrate stories that capture the joy, hope, faith, and magic of the season — through both song and film.

FESTIVAL THEME
All submissions must reflect the essence of Christmas. We welcome films that explore themes such as love, family, generosity, redemption, faith, community, and the emotional warmth of the season.

We accept submissions in the following categories:

- Christmas Short Film (1–30 minutes)
- Christmas Feature Film (31–120 minutes)
- Song & Film Category (music videos, films centred around original Christmas songs)
- Faith Based Christmas Film
- Animated Christmas Film
- Christmas Documentary / Docu Short
- Student Christmas Film
- International Christmas Film

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Format
- Submit via Festhome.
- If selected, final screening copies must be provided in MP4 or MOV format.
2. Language
- Non English films must include English subtitles.
3. Rights
- Filmmakers must own all rights to their film, including music and visuals.
- No copyrighted material without permission.
4. Completion Date
- Films completed within the last 3 years are eligible.
5. Premiere Status
- Premieres are welcome but not required.

NOTIFICATION
- All filmmakers will be notified via email.
- Selected films must confirm participation within 7 days.
- The festival reserves the right to determine screening order and schedule.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Submission fees are non refundable.
- By submitting, filmmakers grant the festival permission to use clips, posters, and stills for promotional purposes.
- The festival does not provide travel or accommodation.
- All decisions by the selection committee are final.
