Not your ordinary film festival, SceneIt is an exclusive private invitation-only, pop-up film reception and screening event for TV, film and studio execs. Only one film from each film category will be screened at the event in an intimate private screening room atmosphere. It is a great way to get the "word-of-mouth" going and reach a discerning audience of entertainment executives. This is your chance to showcase your one-of-a-kind film at a one-of-a-kind private screening just like many big-budget blockbusters. This is a private invitation-only non-networking event only open to a select group of professional TV, film and studio execs. So enter today and get the word out about your great film.

Best Film will be awarded by the attendees of the exclusive private screening event.

Official Selection:
Only the top film in each film category earns the right to call their film “Official Selection: SceneIt” because it was selected to be screened at one of our private events.

1. In the spirit of a greener environment only online submissions through participating platforms will be accepted.

2. All years and genres of films PG-13 and under will be accepted. Previous SceneIt entries are ineligible.

3. Submissions in languages other than English must be dubbed and or subtitled in English for judging and screening purposes.

4. Multiple entries are allowed. You may submit more than one film to a single category or multiple categories, however if selected for screening it will only be eligible to screen in one film category to allow other films/filmmakers a chance to screen their films as well.

5. All submissions are final. No refunds or guarantees are provided.

6. Each entry must be accompanied by the appropriate non-refundable fee/s for the category/categories. Entrance fee is non-refundable. Entries will not be processed without appropriate entry fee payment at the time of submission, NO EXCEPTIONS.

7. No cash, checks or money orders will be accepted. Online payment must be made at the time of submission through a participating festival submission platform, NO EXCEPTIONS.

8. Judges will award the best films/talent through private screenings before the event. Only one film from each film category will be screened at the event.

9. Each film is eligible to win in multiple talent categories, but only one film category. Films not selected in a film category will be ineligible to win in any talent category. Only the top film in each film category earns the right to call their film “Official Selection: SceneIt” because it was selected to be screened at one of our private events. If no film is chosen in a specific film or talent category by the notification date no award will be awarded in that category. If a film category is left empty at the time of the event a replacement film, not eligible for award, may be chosen by the judges and event directors to fill that time slot at the private screening. Best Film will be awarded by the attendees of the exclusive private screening event.

10. All film selection/award decisions will be made by a private select panel of judges to ensure impartiality and fairness. The decision of the judges is final and will be accepted by all.

11. This private invitation-only non-networking event is open ONLY to a select group of professional TV, film and studio execs invited by SceneIt organizers, directors and staff members.

12. SceneIt reserves the right to disqualify or remove any submission, including a winning film, at any time for any reason, without notification or explanation to the filmmaker/submitter, NO EXCEPTIONS.

13. SceneIt reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations, venue or scheduling, without notification or explanation to the filmmaker/submitter.

14. SceneIt is no way affiliated with or related to the popular board game or anyone involved in its creation, manufacturing or distribution. No connection is meant to be implied by the name, logo or any other aspect of these exclusive private screening events.

15. By submitting to SceneIt you confirm that you own or have obtained the permission for all necessary rights to the film and you agree to allow your film to be shown at our private invitation-only screening event. SceneIt shall be held indemnified and not liable for any legal proceedings or litigation involving said film or filmmaker, NO EXCEPTIONS. Ignorance is no excuse: SceneIt shall be held indemnified and not liable for failure to read any and all of these rules and regulations prior to submission, NO EXCEPTIONS.
