The Scene Festival also know as TSF is an International online and live film festival designed for filmmakers to promote their work through an online platform.

The mission of The Scene Festival is to inspire creative filmmakers by celebrating the artistry required to craft an effective movie scene. The Scene Festival showcases Movie scenes under 5-minutes. Submissions may be humorous, scary, dramatic, ironic, iconic, artistic or emotional as long as they are entertaining.

A scene can come from a film or music video, or you can film just a scene for the competition.

THE SCENE FESTIVAL is a monthly international event. We accept short films, documentaries, animations, music video and web series of any genre. Each month our judges, watch, review and rate the submitted films.

HOW TO SUBMIT:
You can submit your entire film and notify the best scene you want to submit by sending 'time codes' in cover letter section.

SPECIAL MENTION CATEGORY
Starting February, The Scene Festival started a SPECIAL MENTION category for the Best Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary and Best Feature Film Actor, Best Feature Film Actress and the best movie trailer.

Web Audience will select the top work for the online monthly competitions.

Winners of every month will be official selected (nominated) for the best of the year.

Live Audience and Web Audience will select the best in each of the CATEGORIES for the annually competition which will be held in Washington DC, United States of America in October.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for consideration, all works must fully comply with the Rules and Regulations, including deadlines, scene or film length, material, and other requirements as listed on this site.

SCENE CATEGORY Entries should be THREE MINUTES OR LESS (180 seconds). A scene can come from a film or music video, or you can film just a scene for the competition.

Filmmaker must obtain or own all rights for all materials in the submission, including music, images, artwork, videos, etc.

All selected films get the notification through email only. Festival is not published full-length film without submitters permission We send notification through email to all filmmaker, if filmmaker decides not to show film online we placed the film into the private screening, all private films are equally qualified for all the awards except Top 10 of the week Competition and other Audiences Choice Award (only for online public screening films).

A filmmaker can request to change or replace the online link of film full film with the trailer of the film anytime or vice versa.

Online Screening Duration:
All selected films will be available on the website forever. The filmmaker (Submitter) can request to remove, replace the film link with trailer or vice- versa anytime they want.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES
The Festival will accept multiple entries. Each entered work should be submitted separately and include a separate entry form, entry fee, and copy of work.

The Festival will select the top work in each of the CATEGORIES. Live Audience and Web Audience will select the Best winners. Winners of the year will be announced at the main event in Washington DC, United States of America.

Many submissions may transcend categories, so we ask that the Film Makers select the category they'd like to have their works considered in.

NOTIFICATIONS
After a film has been selected for film competition, the filmmaker is notified via email only. The selected films will be published on the festival website. All films which are selected/nominated for the competition or Festival will be informed only by emails & listed on the festival website.

No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non-selected films. The decision of the selection committee will be final.

FEES
Each entry will be accompanied by non-refundable fees The entry fee and services fee is not refundable for films that did not get selected. Entries will not be processed without entry fee payment. The submitter will be responsible for all shipping fees. Festival will not provide any courier charges.

COPYRIGHTS
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (full film, trailer) can be uploaded/embed on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing.

By submitting, the filmmaker allows THE SCENE FESTIVAL to create a page for their film without infringing the copyright of any kind of form. Filmmakers can make a request to remove the film link at any time.

FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
The decision of the Festival Committee is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The decision of jury members will be final and accepted by all no inquiries or arguments will be entertained The organizer's reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes. Festival Director reserves the right to take all decisions about the festival.

DISCLAIMER
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in The Scene Festival The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in The Scene Festival and make available the print for screening. Under NO circumstance, the authorities of The Scene Festival will not entertain or be answerable to anyone else apart from the applicant.
