영화제 시작: 19 3월 2026      영화제 끝: 22 3월 2026

Centro Studi Sereno Regis presents GIVE PEACE A SCREEN, the first film competition for short films dedicated to the theme of peace and the creative solution of conflicts.

The festival is aimed at young Italian and foreign directors. Works of fiction and documentary films are eligible.

IMPORTANT: short fiction, animated and documentary films made by Italian and foreign authors which highlight the THEME OF THE FESTIVAL: the construction of Peace through the non-violent resolution of conflicts are admitted to the Competition. The denunciation of injustices and violence will be considered less central than the examples, real or fictional, of overcoming conflicts through nonviolent actions.

현금 수상: 4,000€

The competition will award four main prizes: the Gandhi glasses prize, historic recognition of the Sereno Regis Study Center; the prize established by Michelangelo Pistoletto, to the Preventive Peace; the award in memory of Adonella Marena, the Turin filmmaker who dedicated her profession to the themes of the environment and anti-speciesism; and the award for the search for inner peace, Armonia Mentis, established by the Sinestesia Association. All prizes will have an endowment of 1000 euros. The awards are completed by the screenplay award, by Aurora, and the director award, by Pertinace.

Regulation
First rule: read well!

Registrations are open from May, 1st, 2025 to November, 30th 2025
The festival will be held in Turin (Italy) from 16 to 22 March 2026.

2.IMPORTANT: short fiction, animated and documentary films made by Italian and foreign authors that highlight the THEME OF THE FESTIVAL are admitted to the Competition: the construction of Peace through the nonviolent resolution of conflicts. The denunciation of injustices and violence will be considered less central than the examples, real or fictional, of overcoming conflicts through non-violent actions.

The Give Peace a Screen competition welcomes works that deal with themes included in the field of nonviolent culture:

- opposition to the war

- education for peace and justice

- testimonies of conflicts resolved without resorting to violence

- research of an inner peace that could open to a wider peace

- experiences of "preventive peace": creating the conditions so that conflicts do not arise
search for a nonviolent relationship with Nature.

Participation in the Competition costs 5 euros for each work presented. In particular conditions it is possible to obtain discounts by writing to info@givepeaceascreen.org

For submission permissions after the closing date of the call, the same email can be used.

Multiple works for each director can be entered in the festival.

4. Only those who, on the date of the GPAS (March, 19th, 2026), have not reached their fortieth birthday will be admitted to the Competition. Authors over 40 and works longer than 30 minutes may be selected for the Out of Competition section, at the discretion of the organizing committee.

During the festival the films will be presented divided into thematic areas.

This document, duly signed by each director - bearing the title of the work and the author's name and surname in block capitals - acts as a release.
