The Festival is made up of a competition of feature films received through an open call and a sample instance of non-competitive material, retrospectives and special sections; also a training section with seminars, workshops and talks. Special section for short films.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1- Filmmakers, students and fans from anywhere in the world can participate in the festival.

2- The productions must be framed within the horror and fantasy genres and have been produced between 2021 and 2023.

3- Each participant may present a maximum of 2 works. It is not a requirement that the works be unpublished. Works that have already been submitted to the Festival in previous editions will not be accepted, with the exception of feature films from Córdoba.

4- Participants must complete the registration form that will be available on the site www.terrorcordoba.com.ar. The inscription to the festival implies the full and unconditional acceptance of the present bases and conditions.

5- The works will be received from May 7, 2023 and until 11:59 p.m. on June 20, 2023.

6- Presentation of audiovisual works:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Container file type: MP4 or MOV
Compression: H.264
Minimum resolution: HD (1280x720)
Minimum audio quality: 48 kHz - 16 or 24 bits - Stereo.

7- The works will be registered through Festhome and our official website

8- Works that use pre-existing images and / or sounds will be accepted under the responsibility of the participant, as regards original rights with respect to third parties. The makers of the works will be responsible for claims of any nature that third parties may make regarding their contribution to the production, copyright, inclusion, interpreters, etc.

9- Works whose original language is not Spanish must have subtitles in this language.

10- The selected works will remain under the protection of the festival as part of its archive, with the commitment not to use them for profit. But yes of promotion, retrospectives, samples or special screenings.

11- The organizing committee of the festival will make a pre-selection of the material that will participate in the competitive instance, as well as the works that will be screened in the sample.

12- A jury called by the organizing committee will be responsible for selecting the winners of the festival, awarding the following prizes:

Each winner will receive a statuette and certificate delivered at the closing of the festival. In addition to special prizes that will be reported on our social networks. In the event that the winner is not present to receive their prize, it may be delivered to a representative or sent by post, in which case the shipping costs are borne by the participant. The organizing committee is not responsible for the loss, breakage or any eventuality that may occur in the shipment.

13- The registration cost for the participating feature films is:

-10 dollars for international feature films (outside Latin America)
-5 dollars for Latin American feature films
-3 dollars for Argentine feature films
-Free registration for feature films from Córdoba, Argentina

The organizers may suspend, modify and / or cancel this festival when unforeseen circumstances justify it.

* After encountering the uncertainty of a global pandemic, we cannot specify the ways in which this edition of the Festival will take place. Participants will be notified when we can give certainty of the exhibition screens that we will have this 2023, which may be in a room and / or virtual platform, the virtual exhibition is at the discretion of the participants, once those selected for the competition have been informed and the sample.
