SOUSS International Short Film Festival (15th Edition) ()

SOUSS International Short Film Festival Ait Melloul - Agadir, Morocco, hosts the creators of "Short Films, Short Documentaries" and offer an opportunity to participate in the 15th edition of the festival.

SOUSS International Short Film Festival Ait Melloul 15th edition (May 2023) organized by The Atelier COMMEDIA for cinematographic Creativity, In partnership with Ait Melloul Municipality, Regional Council of Souss Massa and Faculty of Languages, Arts & Human Sciences-Ait Melloul, Supported by the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre.

1) Short Films:
- THE SOUSS GRAND AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM.
- THE SOUSS JURY AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM.
- THE SOUSS AWARD FOR THE BEST SHORT FILM'S SCREENPLAY.

2) short documentaries:
- THE SOUSS GRAND AWARD FOR BEST SHORT DOCUMENTARY.
- THE SOUSS AWARD FOR BEST FILM DIRECTING.
- THE SOUSS AWARD FOR BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY.

3) youth's experiences:
- THE AIT MELLOUL SHORT FILM AWARD.
- THE AIT MELLOUL SHORT DOCUMENTARY AWARD.

1- Participation is open to Moroccans and foreigners.

2- The films nominated for the contest must be short films produced in the two years before the current edition at the latest.

3- The film should take no longer than 26 minutes.

4- The administration of the festival appoints an expert committee to select the films that will take part in the festival's official competition.

5- The applicant is allowed to show not more than one film in competition.

6- The film shall not be withdrawn from the competition after being accepted by the selection committee.

7- The administration of the festival has the right to keep copies of films and to use them for non-commercial purposes.

8- The administration of the festival is authorized to translate the titles and abstracts of nominated films into other languages.
