“International Festival of Films on Religion and Spiritualism” is the only festival in the world devoted to unique subject ‘Religion & Spiritualism’ which is foremost important in an ordinal Indian’s life and perhaps most important in the world after Amerika-visit of Swami Vivekanand. IFFRS will bring together filmmakers, scholars, and enthusiasts from around the world to explore the profound connection between faith, spirituality and the art of cinema. This festival serves as a platform for showcasing films that delve into the diverse religious and spiritual traditions of humanity, fostering interfaith dialogue and promoting understanding and tolerance.

BEST NATIONAL FILM ON RELIGION/SPIRITUALISM: Open to all filmmakers from India only

BEST ANIMATION FILM ON RELIGION/SPIRITUALISM: Open to all film-makers

BEST FILM FROM UTTAR PRADESH: Open to film-makers from Uttar Pradesh.

BEST JURY AWARD: Open to all filmmakers

BEST STUDENT JURY AWARD: Open to all filmmakers

The IFFRS is a festival of films based on Religion and Spiritualism. It will be held in March 2025, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh (India).

• Entry for film is free. One participant can send as many entries he/she likes.

• All films must be submitted by 2 March, 2025

• Films selected for the IFFRS will be announced no later than 5 March 2025.

• Please notify us by mail or email of any address changes.

• The Festival committee has the right to accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.

• The IFFRS reserves the right to use excerpts and pictures from the film for promotion and public relation purposes.

• The film can be in any language, but it should be subtitled in English or Hindi. If the language of the film is English or Hindi, subtitle is not required.

• Running time of the film should not exceed 45 minutes.

• The film can be documentary, narrative, fiction or animation. The format of original film must be 35mm, 16mm or HD.
