* The FANTÀSTIK MAC (Fantastik Granollers Fantastic Short Film Competition) is a competition that is part of the festival as one of the main activities, with a cash prize of € 1000. This also has projections of films out of competition, and activities related to fantasy and / or horror themes, such as exhibitions, talks, round tables, etc.

The Festival will award the Grand Prix of the Jury for the Best Short Film (FANTÀSTIK MAC Award) with an economic prize of € 1,000 and an official Festival Award. The Grand Prize of the Public for the Shortest will receive an official award from the Festival and will not have any financial prize. All the short films received, both those of real image and animation, compete in the Best Short category.

1. The works must be sent to the festival through the distribution platforms that collaborate with the organization. Only works sent in digital format can participate.

2. The Fantàstik Granollers is an international festival, therefore, the call is open to films of any nationality.

During the selection period, the works can be presented in their language of origin.

If it is not Catalan or Spanish, they must be subtitled in those languages. In the event that a film is selected as a finalist, it must be compulsorily subtitled in Catalan or Spanish for its exhibition at the festival.

3. A specialized team made up of members of the organization and professionals from the cinematographic world external to it, will be in charge of selecting the finalist works that will compete for the awards, and an International Jury (which we will discover later) will be responsible for awarding the various awards.

4. The Audience Award will be awarded by the attendees present at the Gala Fantàstika through a voting system.

5. The deadline for submitting works to the short film sections begins on May 3 and ends on October 4, 2021. The organization reserves the possibility of extending the deadline if it deems it necessary.

6. The works selected for the competition will be screened during the festival at the Edison cinema in Granollers.

7. Any production made from 2020 and with a maximum duration of 20 minutes may participate in this contest.

1. Fantàstik Granollers is a fantasy, science fiction and horror themed festival, therefore, all works that do not adhere to any of these genres will be immediately discarded by the organization.

2. The festival consists of the following competitive categories:
