SOL Film Festival is an international short film festival held in Torrevieja (Spain), bringing together filmmakers and audiences around contemporary cinema. The festival promotes both national and international talent, featuring the presence of directors and actors, a professional jury, and activities open to the public. Each edition is built around a specific theme, establishing itself as a cultural meeting point by the Mediterranean.

SHORT FILM REQUIREMENTS

Participation is open to individuals over 18 years old or legal entities of any nationality.
Films must have been produced after January 1, 2024.
Maximum duration: 59 minutes.
Films in Spanish must include English subtitles (embedded or in .srt format).
Films in other languages (original version) must include Spanish subtitles (embedded or in .srt format).
Trailers, unfinished works, or films submitted in previous editions will not be accepted.
For the Official Section, recommended formats are .mov or .mp4, with a minimum resolution of 1080p and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
