Mogilev State Enterprise "Kinovideoprokat" welcomes you and informs that in September 2026 in the city of Mogilev, Republic of Belarus, the XXVIII International Festival of Animated Films "Animaevka-2026" will be held.

Over the years, the festival has become a celebration of animation for children and adults. Events are held in all regional centers of Belarus.

For viewing, film screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs, creative meetings with the creators of animated films, master classes, exhibitions of children's fine and decorative and applied arts are organized.

As part of the treatment:

- competition of animated films;
- competition of children's animation creativity
- competition of children's fine and decorative and applied arts.

The festival will include:

1. Animated Film Competition (age category of participants aged 18 and over) in 13 nominations:

"Best Animated Film of the Festival" (Grand Prix);

"Best Experimental Animated Film";

"Best Visual Solution of an Animated Film";

"Best Script of an Animated Film";

"Best Director of an Animated Film";

"Best Sound Solution of an Animated Film";

"Best Debut Animated Film";

"Best Student Animated Film";

"Best Animated Film for Adults";

"Best Animated Film for Children";

"Best Animated Series";

"Best Belarusian Animated Film";

"Best Patriotic Animated Film";

2. Children's animation creativity competition (age category of contestants up to and including 17 years old) in 9 nominations:

"Best animated film created by children aged
up to 10 years";

"Best animated film created by children aged
up to 17 years";

"Best screenplay";

"Best sound solution of an animated film";

"The most educational animated film";

"The kindest animated film";

"Best Belarusian animated film";

"Best patriotic animated film";

"Best artist of an animated film"

The winners of the competitions are awarded:

- a diploma, a prize of the festival "Big Pencil"

- in the competition of animated films by nominations;

- a diploma, a prize of the festival "Small Pencil" - in the competition of children's animation creativity by nominations

To participate in the festival (in the animation film and children's animation competitions) you must send the following by June 1, 2026:

a completed application to email address: Animaevka@yandex.by;

a copy of an animated film up to 39 minutes long, created during the last three years, including the year of the festival (2024 - 2026), which has not previously been submitted for participation in the festival, Festhome.com;

materials for the catalog: photo of the director, 3 frames from the film to the email address Animaevka@yandex.by or Festhome.com;

english subtitles: Festhome.com

Also, an application, a copy of the animated film, materials for the catalog, subtitles can be submitted through the online forms posted on the festival page mogilevkino.by/pages/o-festivale: animaevka.mogilevkino.by (for the animation film competition) and animaevka.mogilevkino.by/?child (for the children's animation competition).

Films that violate the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, aimed at discrimination against certain groups of the population on religious, racial, ethnic, socio-cultural grounds, promoting violence, extremism, etc., are not allowed to participate in the festival.

The persons (copyright holders) participating as contestants of the festival transfer the right to use the film free of charge to the Organization for the preparation and holding of the festival during the festival period. On the basis of civil law agreements, copyright holders can transfer the right to the Organization for the preparation and holding of the festival to use (show) the film as part of the Echo Animation programs (from October 26, 2026 to September 21, 2027) in order to popularize the festival movement.
