Festival start: 15 December 2026      Festival end: 15 December 2026

Badalona Indie Fest is more than just a film festival; it is a creative ecosystem. It was born with the goal of serving as a bridge between emerging filmmakers and independent writers, creating a space where the script and the image share the same spotlight.

In a world dominated by big algorithms, we bet on local authenticity, the young talent from Badalona’s schools, and the unique vision of independent authors.

THE EVENT:

When: December, 15. 2026 (taking advantage of the year-end cultural atmosphere).

Where: Ocine Cinemas - Màgic Badalona. A professional setting that allows creators to see their works where they always dreamed: on the big screen.

Audience: Film and literature students, local creators, industry professionals, and independent culture lovers.

WHY IN DECEMBER AND AT THE MAGIC?
December is the month for reflection and closing cycles. While other festivals look outward, Badalona Indie Fest looks inward: toward the talent that is already in our streets and schools. Màgic Badalona offers the perfect infrastructure (comfort, technology, and accessibility) to transform a simple showcase into a top-tier cinematic experience.

Independent Filmmakers: Screening of short films and experimental pieces that challenge conventional norms.

Real Networking: A meeting point at Màgic Badalona for writers to find directors and for directors to find stories.

Educational Focus: Active participation of schools and institutes in Badalona, promoting visual literacy directly from the classrooms.
