Animated film exhibition dedicated to the exhibition of films produced in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and Hispanic-American countries.

One of the main events dedicated to the promotion of contemporary production of Ibero-American animation cinema reaches its 15th edition punctuated with attractions, in addition to the already traditional parade of the main animated productions in Portuguese and Spanish.

The finalists will be nominated for the awards for "Best Brazilian Film" and "Best International Film" of 2021.

A – Applications will be accepted for animation short films, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes (including credits), produced in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and Hispanic-American countries, from 2020;

B - Each participant can register as many works as they wish;

C - The official language of Mostra Baixada Animada is Brazilian Portuguese. For subtitling purposes, when recording films produced in other languages, the participant must provide a text file with time-code (.srt) in Spanish, English or Portuguese containing the dialogues, narration and music relevant to the understanding of the work. Mostra performs subtitling in Brazilian Portuguese of all foreign language films from the dialogue list, with time-code, provided by the participant upon registration.

D – The list of selected short films will be disclosed until October 29, 2021, on the Mostra's official website: www.baixadaanimada.com.br. All those selected will receive a certificate of participation.

E - It will be up to the curatorship of Mostra to indicate the works that will compete in each of the categories. During the curatorship, a maximum of 10 Brazilian films and 10 foreign films will be pre-selected and will compete in the following categories: Best Brazilian Film and Best Foreign Film.

F - Participants agree and accept that selected copies will not be returned. The materials received will belong to the BAIXADA ANIMADA collection, and may be used to publicize the Exhibition, and for cultural purposes without commercial purposes.

G - In no case will fees or taxes be paid for the screening rights to selected or invited films.

H - The registered filmmakers grant BENGUELA Produções e Eventos Culturais Ltda the right – free of charge – to display and disseminate images of the film (photos and fragments with a maximum of 30 seconds), at any time and without any time limits. remuneration to participants.

I - It is the participant's responsibility to use images and music from third parties in their films, in addition to any conflict arising from copyright infringement.

J - The registration of the work indicates the full acceptance of this regulation by the person responsible for it.
