India is a land of art and cultural heritage and it is spread in various forms in our society whether it's dance, drama, music, films, painting, sports, etc. Being a global enterprise, Indian Cinema (Bollywood) is a remarkable example of our cultural diversity and it has the greatest influence on India's national identity. We always celebrate our art and one of the best ways is to do so is film festivals. There are many film festivals in Asia where filmmakers and film lovers alike can celebrate the best and the brightest. We are adding one more precious feather to it and that’s the BOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL FILMFESTIVAL (BIFF).

Launched in January 2020, Bollywood International Film Festival – BIFF Mumbai is founded by some of the best-known actors, directors and film professionals. BIFF Mumbai intends to provide a place that connects the film lovers and makers around the world.

The purpose of this film festival is to promote new film makers, looking to get publicity for their films, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas, the culture of India and other nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos.

The festival will host various forums for academic interactions on filmmaking, film appreciation like seminars, workshops, masterclasses etc., for the benefit of film professionals, discerning audience and students on different aspects of cinema.

We invite filmmakers, people from the film fraternity, film critics, journalists, discerning cineastes from amongst the general public & International and National film Institutes; distribution agencies/organizations, to witness the glorious start of BIFF. We sincerely hope the film lovers will utilize this opportunity to enrol as delegates and enjoy the contemporary world cinema and the classics.

All selected entries will receive Official Selection Laurel. Winners will receive digital certificate and Laurel.

The 7th Edition of Bollywood International Film Festival (BIFF) will be held On 18 to 20 Dec. 2026.
Please read the guidelines carefully:

1. Who Can Apply?
Anyone can submit their film – whether you're from a big city or a small village. We value talent, not background.

2. Film Eligibility:
Only films completed after 1st January 2023 are allowed.

3. Subtitles are Must:
All films must have English subtitles. Without them, your film may be disqualified.

4. Multiple Entries:
You can send more than one film, but each film must be submitted with a separate fee.

5. Not Accepted:

- Amateur videos
- Films with political or religious propaganda
- Pornographic content
- Poor quality films (bad sound, no subtitles, low resolution, etc.)

6. Copyright Matters:
If your film violates copyright rules, it will be disqualified, and BIFF will not be responsible.

7. Jury Decision:
The jury will select winners based on the rules. Their decision is final.

8. Promotion Rights:
BIFF can use a short part of your film for Festival promotional purposes.

9. Right to Refuse:
BIFF has the right to reject any entry at any time, without explanation.

10. Legal Responsibility:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bollywood International Film Festival (BIFF) from any legal claims, disputes or liabilities arising from your film submission, including but not limited to issues related to copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.

11. Permission to Screen:
If your film is selected, BIFF has full permission to screen it during the festival.

12. Schedule Changes:
BIFF can change the screening dates and times or may even decide not to screen the film, even if it was selected.

13. Rule Waiver:
The Festival Director can waive any rule if needed.

14. What to Send:
During Submission, you must send:

- Film synopsis in English / Film Trailer
- HQ Film File (MOV,MP4 Format)
- Director’s bio and filmography
- Film posters (300 dpi)
- English subtitles

15. How to Send:

- No physical entries accepted to ensure safety.

18. No Refunds:
If you submit under the wrong category, your fee will not be refunded.

19. Waiver Code Entries:
If we Accept Your Film with Waiver Code Then We have full rights to show your film in film festival. As You Know We Will not consider your film in Competition Section, If you are Agreed with this then you can send your Film.

20. Winner Policy — Festival Support for Award Recipients

Regardless of the total duration of the festival, the organizers will provide the following benefits only for award winners and only for the Award Show day:

Travel Support – One-way or round-trip train fare in 3AC (Normal Category) from the winner’s city to the award show venue.

Stay Support – 1-night accommodation in a normal-category hotel, valid strictly for the Award Show day.

Food Support – Meals for 1 day only (Award Show day), included as per the hotel’s standard service.

Important Guidelines

The above benefits apply only for the Award Show day, even if the festival runs for multiple days.

Any additional stay, extra meals, local travel, or personal expenses beyond the approved day will not be covered.

Winners must share and submit their travel and stay details in advance for official approval.

All payments or reimbursements will be processed through the organizer’s authorized approval procedure.
