Info on the INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM COMPETITION GRAND PRIX “ilCORTO - INTERNATIONAL ROME FILM FESTIVAL 2025“ 17th edition - FREE registration - Deadline: 30 NOVEMBER 2025 - Maximum duration of 52 minutes - And to give greater visibility to the works submitted, hundreds of Short Films will be selected for the “Short Film Marathon - International Rome Film Festival 2025” (12 afternoons of screenings with free admission from 15 to 26 October at the Cine-Teatro Della Forma in Rome). Award for the best short film that responds to the proposed theme, in its widest acceptance, in the valorization of diversity, therefore against intolerance, prejudices and clichés.
♦ BEST SHORT FILM ON THE THEME: "MADE IN ITALY"
Award for the best short film that combines its story with a theme of Italian excellence, dealing with the success of Italian creativity, quality and craftsmanship.

in Italian Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary Schools.

Italian and foreign directors who send their short films through platforms such as FESTHOME without attaching the relevant Registration Form, are automatically inserted in the Free Theme section unless otherwise specified by email; in any case, with the insertion in the section of the platform of our festival, each Author automatically APPROVES the acceptance of ALL the rules of this Competition even if he does not send the Third page of the Registration Form which is considered filled in, signed and automatically sent with a YES to the Authorization for Public Screenings such as the short film marathons and marathons organized by us, and simultaneously declares to indemnify the Italian cultural association ILCORTO.IT from any problem that may arise.
