The 2nd Medinaceli EROS International Video Art Competition offers a unique opportunity for artists who explore the human body and its erotic drive as the central theme of their creations, allowing them to connect with their audience.
This competition aims to bring together a diverse range of audiovisual productions, both nationally and internationally, from a fresh and original perspective.
Its main goal is to provide artists with a platform to showcase their work in a specific venue, La Maison D'EROS in Medinaceli, thereby facilitating public engagement with sensual art.

1. Registration Fee
The competition registration fee is 25 euros. You can pay this fee through FESTHOME or by bank transfer to the DEARTE Foundation's account, earmarked for the Medinaceli EROS International Video Art Competition.

Video submissions will close on September 20, 2025, at 00:00 (GMT +1). No further creations will be accepted after this deadline.
Videos selected by an expert jury will be screened on October 18, 2025, at "El Jardín de las Delicias" within La Maison D’EROS, Medinaceli’s sensual art Agora, located at Calle San Román 3, 42240, Soria (Spain).
Selected artists will be notified of their participation in the October 18 gala by October 8, 2025, at the latest.

You can register through the FESTHOME platform.
Alternatively, you can register by completing and submitting the online Registration Form to the email address: lamaisondeeros@dearte.info. Please use the subject line: INSCRIPCIÓN, [YOUR FIRST NAME] [YOUR FIRST LAST NAME] [YOUR SECOND LAST NAME].

Please attach the completed form and the following documentation to your email:
Photocopy of the contestant's ID card (DNI) or passport
Brief, updated curriculum vitae (CV)

Technical and General Video Conditions:
One video per artist or collective.
Videos may have been submitted to other video art competitions or festivals. If selected and/or awarded, the video may be exhibited with clear mention of its presentation at Medinaceli EROS 2025.
Maximum duration: 5 minutes per video.
Video subtitles:
Works in any language are accepted, but if a video contains dialogue or text in a language other than Spanish, Spanish subtitles must be included.
Originality and Copyright: Videos must be original, and video artists or groups must hold the full copyright for both the image and sound components.
Data Accuracy: Neither the management, curators, nor any person associated with the Competition are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by participants. In case of issues related to audiovisual rights, please contact the email previously provided.
Adherence to Laws and Artistic Criteria: Under no circumstances will works be accepted that deviate from artistic criteria or that violate current Spanish law or the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Responsibility for such violations will, in all cases, rest with the authors of the videos and never with the Medinaceli EROS International Video Art Competition or any of its collaborators.
Video Art Submission:
You can submit your video art through FESTHOME.
It is also possible to submit via Wetransfer, Google Drive, or similar services, sending the link to lamaisondeeros@dearte.info.
Videos should be submitted in H.264/MPEG-4 format or a similar standardized format that allows for good quality viewing.
The maximum recommended file size per file is 1 GB. The aspect ratio should be 16:9.
It is mandatory to complete and return the registration form as a PDF attachment to the email address provided.
Videos and documents can be attached as individual files, compressed files, or sent via email, download platforms, and/or storage services.
Consent and Data Protection:
By uploading the video, the author grants the Competition organization the right to reproduce and distribute it in the spaces selected for exhibition. The author also authorizes the publication of their name and video credits in the list that will include all participants.
Furthermore, the organization reserves the right to use the names, surnames, and still images of selected participants or their videos for the purpose of disseminating and promoting the competition, as well as for public media advertising, without such use entitling them to any remuneration.
The cession of these rights will continue after the competition and the projection at La Maison D’EROS are concluded, under the tacit consent of both parties, unless the author/owner indicates otherwise.
Simply participating by submitting a proposal implies full acceptance of the regulatory terms and conditions of this Festival.
